If you need to exit IHOPKC staff (not just transition to a different department), here's the process to complete for legal record keeping of your employment:
By 1-2 weeks before exit date:
- Inform your supervisor & schedule an exit interview with them for prior to your exit date.
- Fill out the IHOPKC Staff Exit Form (takes about 5 minutes)
By exit date:
- If you were given any IHOPKC keys, please return them all to HR.
- If you were given any other IHOPKC equipment, please return them to IT or the applicable department.
- If you have an IHOPKC 403b retirement account, you'll need to transfer it to another retirement plan outside of IHOPKC upon your exit.
Other important information:
- Any stipend you're currently receiving will end on your exit date.
- Any benefits you're receiving will stop at the end of the same month of your exit date. If exit date is before the end of the month, please note that a full month’s payment of benefits will be deducted from your paycheck.
- Your IHOPKC email account will be suspended two weeks after your exit date.
- You will be able to access your W-2s in Paylocity until May 1st of next year, so keep your login information.
